Two new certifications now available

We are proud to disclose two important pieces of news related to certification for all users of ccs (cableless control systems).

1) AIR series radio remote control have recently had their stop function certified by one of the most important international certification bodies: TÜV Rheinland. This means that their GSS/EMS/ATS safety functions meet the requirements of ISO 13849-1 up to PL e and of IEC 62061 up to SIL 3. The tested and verified models are the LK NEO pushbutton units and the AJC/AJN/AJQ waist-held units with FHSS technology, matched with the ACRM5E base station. It is possible to receive statements by AUTEC on functional safety also for similar models in the AIR series with the same technical features. These functional safety performances make AUTEC cableless control systems particularly reliable: a notable feature in a market requiring higher and higher quality and efficiency.

2) Important news is coming for the North American market too: the pushbutton units in the LIFT series equipped with ACRH11 base station are now available, upon request, with UL 508 certification; such certification is the reference product standard for Industrial Control Panels in the US, that is for electric panels controlling machines. The certificate has been released by UL (Underwriters Laboratories Inc.), the most important US certification body, entrusted by companies from all over the world to prove full conformity to safety standards in North America. The validity of the certificate is monitored through multiple annual tests by UL at AUTEC’s production sites. The mission of UL Inc. is to promote safe working environments. AUTEC identifies in such values and it is therefore proud to offer -upon request- the UL certification for the AC supplied LIFT series, in compliance with US and Canadian safety standards.
